Programme Delivery



Opportunity for a Programme Delivery Manager to join our multidisciplinary team in Birmingham, B3 2HP (based in a brand-new office on Edmund Street).

We have established a well-regarded team of over 30 staff in the last five years, contributing our engineering design to projects across the region and we are now ready to invest in a locally based Project Management/Delivery specialist to oversee some of our largest multidisciplinary projects, helping ensure we collectively exceed our clients’ expectations and maximise opportunities.

You’ll be an experienced engineering project manager and/or seasoned construction professional, who’s self-motivated, a problem solver at heart and takes joy in tackling complex tasks and delivery. As a versatile specialist the day to day role is principally centred and focused on our clients and their projects.

As part of the PD (Programme Delivery) team your primary aim is to ensure that our clients receive the very best service from all of the Hydrock departments when and where engaged, be that, Building Performance Engineering (BPE), Structures, Land Quality, Infrastructure and Transport. Further you’ll appreciate the need to generate sales and actively seek opportunities (Birmingham and nationally) from new and existing clients or from the key project your delivering. You’ll build lasting relationships and help make Hydrock the engineering consultant of choice.

You’ll have a thorough knowledge of both our agreement and contractual relationship and the authority and presence to clearly, concisely and accurately advise on the status of the project when required. To achieve our goal, you will expertly manage your personal relationship with clients, fellow professionals, as well as in house engineering and support teams locally and nationally. You’ll organise the teams, disseminate information, present concise technical explanations and represent/present our deliverables to programme.

Knowledge of PRINCE 2, NEC Engineering and Construction Contract and Joint Contacts Tribunal (JCT) Contract is highly desirable.
