About Us:
GE is the world's Digital Industrial Company, transforming industry with software-defined machines and solutions that are connected, responsive and predictive. Through our people, leadership development, services, technology and scale, GE delivers better outcomes for global customers by speaking the language of industry.

Monitoring of electrical grid infrastructure is a critical task carried out continuously by system operator to guarantee safe and reliable operations. Traditional SCADA systems give operators a view of the system’s operating conditions with a typical latency in the range of seconds and minutes. The relative low measurement frequency has not allowed traditional SCADA systems to handle system emergency operation in real time. The faster and higher resolution introduced with synchrophasor technologies also knows as dynamic monitoring capabilities, enable wide area monitoring with extremely low latency less than 200ms. WAMS systems optimize overall availability, reliability and stability analysis and operations.

GE is committed to taking on the world’s toughest challenges. In order to fulfill that promise we rely on a culture of leadership, diversity and inclusiveness. We aim to employ the world’s brightest minds to help us create a limitless source of ideas and opportunities. We believe in hiring talented people of varied backgrounds, experiences and styles…people like you!

Locations: United Kingdom; Edinburgh

GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
