Project Manager

Main Purpose of the Job

Reporting to the Framework Manager you will be responsible for managing the effective delivery of our design services across a range of varied and interesting projects to cost, programme and the required quality. This will be a challenging and exciting role which will be well suited to a highly motivated and organised team player.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

· Act as the client facing entity for allocated projects

· Managing stakeholder requirements and expectations

· Preparation and updating of programmes

· Preparation of fee estimates and monitoring of expenditure

· Identification and systematic management of risk and change

· Leading and motivating the project team

· Maintaining communications with stakeholders and the project team

· Day to day management of projects and team members

· Ensuring compliance with regards to Pell Frischmann’s BMS

· Other duties as required by the Framework Manager

Essential Experience

· A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a formal Project Manager role

· Experience of managing and leading the design team and processes within the discipline of Civil Engineering

· Experience of undertaking a client facing role and stakeholder management

· A good understanding of all relevant standards and Codes of Practice and Health and Safety Legislation within the construction industry

Preferred Experience

· Experience of the water sector

· Experience of working with South West Water and/or Wessex Water

Essential Qualifications

· None

Preferred Qualifications

· A degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering

· Formal Association for Project Management or PRINCE2 practitioner qualifications
