Our Peterborough Business unit continues to grow, with a specific growth demand within the Infrastructure sector (Water, Rail, Power, Highways, Environment, Ports & Marine and Nuclear) where we have successfully secured positions with many high profile clients and some key local projects and programs in the industry.
As a direct result of this growth, we are currently seeking a full time Contracts Manager (Utilities) to support in our business growth.
The Contracts Manager (Utilities) will be overseeing projects and programme of works delivery from commercial side, representing the Client under the Contract. Working in Alliance environment the Contracts Manager will be driving the efficiency and performance of Joint Delivery Team. Reviewing and challenging projects at each review stage the Contracts Manager will ensure that Value for Money is delivered through the investment.
As Contract Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the key deliverables within each stage of the project and programme are being administered to the highest quality. Collaboration will be key to enable the most efficient and cost effective approach in delivering outstanding projects while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and quality.
The Contract Manager will be accountable for all commercial aspects of the programme of work. You will be administrating EWN process, attending Risk Reduction and review change process during the projects life cycle.
As Contract Manager you will be responsible for final account review and signed off.
Minimum 5 year experience working within Utilities sector, water (advantage)
Excellent knowledge and practical use of NEC 3
Previous involvement – experience in working in Alliance environment
Contract administration, defect and insurance claim management
Health and Safety certification (NEBOSH or similar)
Experience in using SAP, financial forecast and cost reporting.
