Its offering includes products, systems and solutions for intelligent traffic management, rail-bound transportation, smart grids, energy efficient buildings, and safety and security. The Division comprises the divisions Rail Systems, Rail Automation, Intelligent Traffic Systems, and Rail Electrification.
About the role
As Telecoms Project Engineering Manager (PEM), you will be responsible for ensuring that engineering on all projects within our Telecoms team is delivered on time and to the quality and safety standards that Siemens is known for. You will lead a team of skilled Project Engineers, allocating work packages and ensuring that the team is able to deliver a consistently high level of service to our customer.
This is a diverse and challenging role, where you will manage a national portfolio of projects and work with a variety of colleagues, customers and suppliers.
In order to succeed in this role you must be skilled at effectively leading delivery across multiple complex projects with safety, quality, cost and time deliverables across each. Alongside this, you will be managing a sizeable team and liaising with a number of internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis.

Have you provided support and development to multidisciplinary teams to ensure that practices and methods of working are maintained at a high level?
How do you interface with your team and others to ensure activities are completed correctly and on time?
Are you able to plan and maximise resource effectively?
How do you prioritise the safety of your team and others in the workplace?
What is your understanding of the safety critical, commercial and critical systems elements of the rail telecoms industry?
