Constructability Engineer - Anglian Water (IOS) Integrated

What you will be doing?
We are looking for a Constructability Engineer to join the team, working as part of the
Delivery Team under the Design Manager to deliver a parcel of Pressure Reducing Valves
(PRV) projects. The role will involve enabling projects to be delivered with respect to
technical specifications, client needs and the needs and regulations of other stakeholders
Responsibilities:  Support the Design Manager in the coordination of the design phase for each scheme.  Capture Outputs in the relevant corporate system.  Receive prioritised projects from the Anglian Water design team for project locations  Coordinate the enabling works to assess the constructability  Assess the constructability of the PRV against a preferred design library  Lead Optioneering where appropriate  Coordinate the production of design by the design engineers  Develop projects in accordance with the agreed governance of the IOS Process  Develop solutions in line with corporate governance processes  Produce Pre-construction information  Comply with the corporate Risk and Value Process  Ensure standard products and other technical standards (e.g. minimum asset

standards) are adhered to  Support the capture of outputs in the relevant corporate systems  Support the capture of asset changes (decommissioning, alteration, creation) in the
relevant corporate systems  Customer management e.g. needs, system and cost requirements  External stakeholder management and internal operations liaison  Engagement, planning and resource scheduling  Complete and comply with all operational site H&S requirements to ensure safe
working practices  Ensure Personal H&S & MTRA are completed and valid  Ensure near misses are recorded through Good catch  Carry out ad hoc risk assessment as necessary  Ensure your behavioural safety and subcontractor procurement aligns with AW H&S

Key Experiences/Skills:
 Education to A level or equivalent  Appropriate professional engineering qualification  Operational Water experience  Contract management skills  Capital budget management skills not Revenue  Strong negotiating skills  Strong cost and risk-based analysis skills  Knowledge and experience of customer management and external stakeholder

management  Knowledge and experience of planning and resource scheduling
