As a member of the UK team, you'll support local and international projects across the transportation and energy sectors, including railways, highways, metros, marine, wind, hydro, and more.

You'll be joined by hundreds of skilled experts, collaborating over the entire lifecycle of a project – from idea, concept and design, to operation and maintenance within our portfolio of tunnels & underground structures, bridges, complex structures, ground engineering and reclamation projects.

DESIGN THE FUTURE WITH A GLOBAL TEAM OF EXPERTS

In this position, you'll be responsible for managing large projects or a portfolio of smaller projects with similar collective business impact, including targets, quality, and client/staff satisfaction. You'll also assist in developing business strategies and the necessary technical capacity and staff resources, as well as, managing and developing Project Managers in the portfolio or on the project.

On a day-to-day basis, you'll be responsible for;

* Planning and successfully operating assigned projects within your portfolio, including resource management

* Contract review and negotiation

* Preparing risk screenings and bid submission notes

* Complete projects in compliance with the COWI Quality Management System

* Achieve project financial, schedule, quality and client satisfaction objectives

* Ensures appropriate technical oversight/review is provided to the project team

* Project closure activities, including preparation of design cost statistics, updating of team member resumes and preparation of content for project reference sheets

* Contributing to month-end closure activities including; project estimates, resolving project overruns, updating the long-term planning sheets and resource planning tool

* Growing the business with clients, including taking advantage of cross-selling opportunities.

* Experience working with major bridge, tunnel and/or infrastructure projects

* Have the experience and ability to see projects through from concept to completion within a professional services environment

* Strong leadership skills and proven ability to manage teams

* Strong business acumen coupled with solid technical skills

* Excellent written and oral communication skills

* Proven ability to cope with and lead others through complexity, uncertainty and change

* Self-motivated, flexible and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

* Strong organizational and time management skills

* Willingness and ability to travel to suit project needs

* Innovative and creative mind-set
