Production Operative
Job Description
Ecolab are looking for fixed term Process Operator's
Job Overview:
The production operatives will report to the Production Supervisor and will be responsible for the day-to-day manufacture and packaging of chemicals in order to meet production schedules and customer order requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
• Meet all Health and Safety requirements and targets.
• Assist in meeting the production schedule.
• Ensure all products are manufactured to the correct Quality standard, right first time – to GMP standards.
• Off-loading of bulk chemical tankers
• Report equipment maintenance requirements as they become known.
• Active participation in the site TPM initiatives
• Manufacture (blending) of batches to predefined recipes.
• Packaging of products on the automated and semi-automated filling lines.
• Member of the site Emergency Response Team (This requires the applicant to be clean shaven at all times)
• Laboratory testing may be required.
Qualifications:
• FLT license
• NVQ level 2 or equivalent in process operations would be beneficial
• Previous production environment experience ideally chemical and COMAH experience.
• Flexible approach to work duties to meet the needs of the business.
• Precise attention to detail and methodical approach to work and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent team working skills and ability to collaborate with other process operators.
• Previous experience of TPM/Lean would be advantageous
• Physical ability to lift up to 25kg and climb stairs
