PE Virtual Modelling Graduate
Our award-winning graduate and apprentice programmes have been designed to be just as inspiring as the next generation of vehicles you’ll help produce. In fact, we’ve designed our early careers programmes for you to shape the future with us. With opportunities right across our business, you’ll use your creativity to bring new ideas to life, develop specialist, commercial and project skills and push the boundaries of your potential.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This is where our inspiration, and yours, comes to life. Join our Virtual Modelling team, and you’ll be working right at the cutting-edge − utilising the world’s most advanced technologies in state-of- the-art facilities.
Using Computer Aided Engineering models, such as finite element models, computational fluid dynamics or multi-body dynamics, you’ll aid the development and optimisation of components and systems. And, as the emphasis on the virtual world and validation techniques using CAE grows, this role will become even more in demand. With this in mind, we’re looking for graduates who are keen to develop the CAE tool sets and modelling methods, to drive our business forward. This will require a technical mindset, to constantly check the results with engineering calculations.
We have a wide variety of roles that span across our engineering function. Although you’re applying specifically to this team, if you are successful there will be the opportunity for you to express which other areas of the business you’re interested in. This will help us to determine where your best fit may be.
With ongoing support from industry-leading experts and opportunities to gain further skills and qualifications (e.g CEng), you’ll be the one keeping us out in front.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Excellence runs throughout our entire business and we expect you to be the same. So, as well as an Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Geometry and Design; Computer Science or Computer Game Development degree at 2:2 level or higher, you’ll also need drive, creativity, a keen eye for detail and a never-ending commitment to delivering results.
Whatever your role, you’ll discover our dedication to developing excellence runs throughout the business. Your innovation and creativity will be challenged every day, as you develop a rigorous and commercially focused approach to your work.
And with ongoing support from industry-leading experts, you’ll quickly realise the schemes have been designed to be just as inspiring as the pioneering vehicles you’ll help produce.
