Job Summary

AECOM is a leading provider of professional and technical support to the water industry, local government and private developers. We are looking for talented Process Engineers with proven technical capacity to join our UK Water Team.

You will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic team on a challenging mix of projects in water and wastewater engineering. If you are interested in working in a thriving business as part of a motivated and growing team, driving innovation and sustainable solutions, then we are interested in hearing from you.

We are looking for people who are self-motivated and able to motivate others; able to manage time input and ensure client expectations are met. Working with an established multi-disciplinary team you will coordinate and lead the technical delivery of a range of projects covering water and wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure, throughout UK&I and internationally. Key clients include water utility companies, government bodies and major industrialists.

Minimum Requirements

*

Experience in water and/or wastewater treatment and reuse.

*

Experience in delivering projects over a range of cost and complexity.

*

Experience of design at all stages from concept to commissioning.

*

Ability to manage and work to budgets.

*

Good understanding of CDM.

*

Good understanding of Safety in Design.

*

Experience of participation in HAZOP meetings and methods.

Preferred Qualifications

*

Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or associated scientific/environmental discipline.

*

Chartered or working towards chartership with an appropriate engineering/scientific institution (e.g. IChemE, CIWEM).
