Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for a Prinipal/Senior EC&I Engineer.
The BEP EPC project will safely design and deliver a Plant and the works in accordance with the requirements of the contract to enable conditioning of wastes from the various donor plants,
The work will be carried out in line with the Employer’s needs and to the satisfaction of stakeholders in the BEP project.

Principal / Senior EC&I Engineer reporting to Area EC&I Lead Engineer. Responsible for delivery of EC&I design & engineering for area systems. Will be responsible for production of design documentation, design substantiation, as well as checking the work of other engineers & designers.
Skills / Qualifications
* Degree qualified or demonstrable equivalent underpinning knowledge & understanding.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience of working within a highly regulated industry.
* Awareness of current standards, regulations, legislation and technical developments.
* Ability to provide technical input and produce technical deliverables.
* Nuclear experience preferred working on Cumbria, North West Ltd projects.
* Working within a JV environment.
* The ability to obtain BPSS clearance is essential for continuance in the role.
* Competent with Microsoft Office software.
* Familiar with software used by the C, E & I discipline including Cumbria, North West Ltd’s CONCISE and the AVEVA Electrical and Instrumentation packages is desirable.
