Role Summary

Based within the Operation Centre Quality team. The Principal Quality Engineer will provide the lead for both the Engines & Airframes products on Quality and Aerospace Regulatory matters. They will take the technical lead to drive Zero Defects, BMS improvement in accordance with internal and external customer's requirements and ensure production is achieved.#LI-SJ1

Core Responsibilities

* To Identify and lead improvement projects and investigations across the business with multifunctional teams

* Drive improvement to Cost of Quality, Zero defects and creat quality KPI's and drive metric improvement

* To be a member of the Quality team and provide prompt feedback to the Head of QHSE relating to any quality matters (QC, QE & QA)

* To support internal & external audits, liaise with the 3rd party certification bodies (CAA, BSI) and customers

* Be part of the BMS & QMS team to develop these tools across operation centre

* Display and promotes strong HPC behaviors

Job Specifications

* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

* Proven experience in a similar role

* Committed to continuous improvement

* Strong problem solving, analytical and research skills with excellent attention to detail

* Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to maintain and compile clear, accurate records and prepare technical reports
