What you’ll be doing

Put your creative skills to the test and play an active role to help us develop the next big thing in GPUs. This means driving the feature definition, power and performance goals of key components that will meet the latest demand for even more performance per mm2 and per mW.

You will;

* Understand industry trends and their impact on the GPU

* Gather requirements from customers and the latest API features

* Work with the Research Group to analyse and model new features and their impact

* Write detailed feature specifications that cover both hardware implementation and programming model

* Assist the implementation team through implementation and verification

You’ll have;

* Excellent knowledge of GPU Hardware Architecture

* Strong understanding of digital ASIC design techniques and constraints

* Competency in mapping algorithms to a hardware efficient implementation

* Strong knowledge of Low Power Design techniques

* Practical track record and In-depth experience of IP or SOC level RTL design

* In-depth experience of any ASIC or FPGA design tools

You might also have;

* Strong maths and algorithm skills

* Experience in digital video

* Knowledge of CPU or DSP architectures
