We are looking for a Principal DSP Hardware Design Engineer to deliver next-generation audio DSP solutions working in one of the best company cultures in the world. Responsibilities

* Deliver next-generation audio signal processing hardware solutions from feasibility through to silicon
* Work with system architects to define and refine audio signal processing specifications to meet customer requirements
* Implement audio signal processing solutions in MATLAB and RTL
* Explore next-generation speculative signal processing hardware solutions ahead of formal customer requirements
* Further develop our audio signal processing methodology
Required Skills and Qualifications

* Demonstrable and significant record of delivering digital signal processing hardware solutions on multiple ASICs
* Masters or Doctorate in Electrical Engineering or related discipline and meaningful work experience
* Detailed understanding of DSP theory and audio signal processing
* Very good knowledge of overall design flow RTL to GDS2
* RTL front-end design experience
* Experience of: SDM, DEM and PWM design; PLL design and architectures and general clock recovery circuits; Filter design of interpolation and decimation for audio applications; Crafting full DSP audio signal paths including FIR, IIR and CIC filters; MATLAB and Simulink
Preferred Skills and Qualifications

* Understanding of mixed-signal design
* Sample rate converter design for audio applications
* Audio signal processing design for acoustic transducers such as microphones, speakers
