MLM Building Control has an exciting opportunity in our Central London office for a Principal Building Control Surveyor. Managing a broad and exciting range of projects you will have the opportunity to directly influence the shape of the business.
You will have a degree in a construction related subject, be MRICS, MCABE or MCIOB qualified and have substantial experience in a similar role. You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to develop the business by introducing new clients and expanding the workload.
Your role will encompass tasks such as:
* Efficiently and competently undertaking and providing the Building Regulations and associated services on a timely basis.
* Working to the highest standards of professional probity and accuracy on building regulations projects in accordance with the relevant legislation and regulations.
* Contributing towards improvement of technical, administrative and management processes.
* Providing professional guidance, development and support for employees with less experience.
* Communicate effectively with a range of internal and external contacts, across all sectors, to ensure compliance issues are understood and effectively risk managed.
The successful candidate will be a motivated professional who thrives in a supportive team environment and will be able to contribute to the growth of the team by taking an active role in the development of others.
The role is based in Central London and there will be travel to sites, client/team meetings and other MLM offices so a valid driving licence is desirable.
