Your experience may have been obtained through academia (PhD, research associate) and/ or through industry. We see growing opportunities in these areas due to the increasing complexity of the electricity networks.

You will also be expected to demonstrate the appropriate behaviours and commitment towards health and safety to ensure we maintain our first-class safety culture.

* The motivation to support and develop junior staff;

* Enjoy bidding and winning work;

* The ability to clearly articulate of complex issues to clients;

* Strong degree in a quantitative degree, ideally in Control Systems Engineering, or a strong first degree in a quantitative subject with subsequent experience in Control Systems

Experience in one of more of the following areas would also be useful:

* Studies in PSCAD, particularly complex studies such as interaction studies, transient overvoltage etc;

* Studies in DIgSILENT, particularly using the EMT module;

Complex grid integration studies for new technologies such as battery storage and synchronous condensers.
