WHAT TO EXPECT
Here, you’ll design, develop and shape the future of our electronic systems by helping us find visionary developments in everything from hybrid vehicles and infotainment to advanced electronic systems integration and electrics.
The Power Electronics team is responsible for cross-brand delivery of plug-in and full electric vehicles (PHEVs and BEVs) including hardware design and implementation, appropriate system design and control strategies for relevant components. The team is heavily involved in current and future electrification programmes and is thereby actively contributing to the Jaguar Land Rover CO2 route map.
As the successful candidate, you’ll act as a Power Electronics Software Development Lead Engineer and will be responsible for software development including application and low level software within multiple Power Electronics commodities. The main focus of your role will be to establish new software development methods to meet our business requirements on time with appropriate quality, efficiency and robustness. You’ll be responsible for the development of associated DVMs, DVPs and HILST testing activities, as well as managing and supporting all Software Quality assurance work streams and being responsible for developing and maintaining software delivery plans.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
As a Power Electronics Software Development Lead Engineer, you’ll come to this role with a background which includes experience of software delivery under the PCDS development process, and you’ll be familiar with MATLAB/Simulink, ControlDesk and dSPACE configurations. Rounding out your skill set with excellent communication skills and business acumen will see a successful application for this role.
