An ever-evolving heritage. A truly exciting future. Two of the world’s most iconic brands. Jaguar Land Rover is revered across the globe. Continually pushing the boundaries of innovation and redefining the benchmark for excellence, we set the standards others want to follow. We want to keep it that way too. Which is where you join the journey.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Here, you’ll design, develop and shape the future of our electronic systems by helping us find visionary developments in everything from hybrid vehicles and infotainment to advanced electronic systems integration and electrics.

The Power Electronics team is responsible for cross-brand delivery of plug-in and full electric vehicles (PHEVs and BEVs) including hardware design and implementation, appropriate system design and control strategies for relevant components. The team is heavily involved in current and future electrification programmes and is thereby actively contributing to the Jaguar Land Rover CO2 route map.

As the successful candidate, you’ll act as a Power Electronics Software Development Lead Engineer and will be responsible for software development including application and low level software within multiple Power Electronics commodities. The main focus of your role will be to establish new software development methods to meet our business requirements on time with appropriate quality, efficiency and robustness. You’ll be responsible for the development of associated DVMs, DVPs and HILST testing activities, as well as managing and supporting all Software Quality assurance work streams and being responsible for developing and maintaining software delivery plans.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

As a Power Electronics Software Development Lead Engineer, you’ll come to this role with a background which includes experience of software delivery under the PCDS development process, and you’ll be familiar with MATLAB/Simulink, ControlDesk and dSPACE configurations. Rounding out your skill set with excellent communication skills and business acumen will see a successful application for this role.

BENEFITS

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and a performance-related bonus scheme. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you will find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team. As well as the impressive benefits that all our employees receive (including a privilege car purchase scheme, competitive pension scheme and 26 days holiday entitlement), there are some additional benefits open to our Managers. This includes access to our highly competitive Employee Car Ownership (ECO) scheme which provides a Jaguar, Land Rover or Ford brand car at extremely favourable cost compared to traditional company car lease schemes. In addition to the car scheme we provide private health cover (which includes travel insurance) and performance-related bonus schemes. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.

Jaguar Land Rover is committed to equal opportunity for all.
