Power Electronics is an Electrification Powertrain based team responsible for cross-brand development and delivery of the HV commodities. This role is within the Traction Inverter team responsible for all cross-carline inverters on transmissions, EDUs and stand-alone. Power Electronics is heavily involved in current and future electrification vehicle programmes and is thereby actively contributing to the Jaguar Land Rover next generation of vehicles.

As the Power Electronics Inverter Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of the assigned traction inverter applications (400-800V Systems). You will lead design, development and validation of associated commodities with complete end-to-end technical engineering ownership from sourcing to launch and beyond. You will lead a 10-20 strong team of expert engineers to support the various critical projects to enable Jaguar Land Rover’s future generator of powertrains.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

In this role, you'll need extensive experience of High Voltage Power Electronics, together with proven capabilities in design, validation and delivery. You'll need a strong knowledge of both HW and SW aspects of inverter design and development, managing Tier 1 suppliers to deliver to the highest quality. You'll need Project management capabilities with excellent execution skills and the ability to multitask as well as being comfortable challenging with strong influencing and engagement skills - able to challenge existing thinking positively whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal style.

You will need comprehensive experience of High Voltage Power Electronics, with a focus on power conversion/inverters with knowledge of vehicle HV and LV power architectures. Furthermore, you will be competent in issue resolution methodology and application (e.g. 8D).

You will also possess:

* Knowledge of APQP and PPAP processes

* Knowledge of Automotive Safety development following ISO26262

* Failure mode avoidance experience with demonstrable knowledge of associated processes such as DFMEA and FTA
