Plant Operator (Weekly Paid) for Aggregates / Aggregates / Operations

Description of Team / Department

There is a small team of 9 employees including management across the quarry and landfill site. There are alot of cross functional activities betweent he team members.The team at Shardlow are very welcoming and are happy to help new employees.

Purpose of / Responsibilities of the role

To operate and maintain static plant to the required standard to ensure safe and efficient working of the Quarry to meets its prodution and quality requirements. To maintain a safe, clean and presentable site. To be part of an enthusiastic, self motivated and well organised team. To provide assistance to the Production Supervisor and other plant operatives as and when required.

Skills / Experience

Static plant operational experience. Health and Safety awareness including risk assessments and safe working systems. Mobile plant competency ideally to NVQ Level 2 standard. Time management discipline. Open communicator
