Purpose of / Responsibilities of the role

Asphalt Plant Operator, Penmaenmawr

This is an hourly paid role primarily operating asphalt plant, but will include static plant maintenance and mobile plant operations to include operating, FEL's and other mobile equipment as directed by management and as trained in.

Applicants must be enthusiastic and willing to learn, be flexible in their approach to work as a team member as well as being able to work on their own initiative.

They would need to demonstrate

* a keen attitude to multi task and a willingness to learn new skills,
* an excellent attitude to Health and Safety, environmental and quality issues
* a desire to fit into an existing but small interdependent team is essential for this role.
* they are a keen team player but able to make quick independent, decisive decisions
* they are highly motivated and able to demonstrate the highest regards to sustainability, including stringent attention to health and safety, environmental and quality issues.

Reporting to the Supervisor, this position offers an excellent and challenging opportunity for an individual to join an established friendly work force.

Skills / Experience

The successful applicant will be expected to have or be willing to be trained to NVQ standard or equivalent, for operation of mobile plant and console operations
