We are currently looking to recruit a Planning Specialist (m/f) for our site in Derby

YOUR ROLE

This role will co-ordinate and administer all Operations and Project Planning activities required for the bids, start-up, execution, maintenance and completion of current and potential contracts in line with the manufacturing process, Project Management Officer and customer requirements. The person filling this role will also prepare regular and exception reports highlighting both real and potential problems. In addition another responsibility of the person covering this role will be to attend programme reviews and other meetings, and report on the status of contracts for which this person is responsible.

Your Tasks

- Maintain Detail Project and MPS Tracking Schedule

- Create 2 weekly stage production schedules

- Create various Project Customer schedule

- Create stores kitting schedule

- Create Test and Sale schedule

- Attend and Input into all Project start-up phase meetings (kick off, planning meeting, harmonisation meeting etc.)

- Co-ordinate daily Production and Commando meetings

- Attend and input into weekly Project CCB, MAB change and Change Implementation meetings

- Attend and input into all phases of Project Gate reviews

- Attend and input into Planning Project Status meeting

- Distribute all Project Vehicle Documentation

- Attend and co-ordinated all the requirements within Production Control Planning

- Liaise with all inputs to enable mark up and all Project Customer schedules

- Customer interface meeting

Qualifications

- Languages: Proficient level of English

- Degree in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory

- Some experience in the manufacturing industry is essential

- Good experience in a similar role is highly desirable

- Solid skills in MS Projects and Primavera is required

- Some SAP knowledge is highly desirable

- Good communication and organisational skills required
