Our utilities team covers everything from design and development to installation and repair, for water, gas and power networks across the UK. We have over 40 years’ of experience in helping to ensure a safe, secure and sustainable supply of energy and water to millions of households and businesses. Our project portfolio includes Thames Water, tRIIO and major projects such as HS2 and TFL.

You'll:

* Enable Project Management to control the progress of contracts by identifying and producing integrated programmes of work, monitoring performance against plans and identifying problem areas and other effects.

* Minimise company risk by identifying the critical path for contracts.

* Enable control of the progress of procurement by producing schedules for all materials and equipment, updating regularly and analysing the implications of updates.•Update and monitoring of Project Plans for applications for payment.

* Manage and maintain the Client’s and partner company Management and Reporting Systems

* Regularly consult with Design and Construction team to ensure an accurate understanding of the work issues

* Negotiation with site managers, internal personnel and Design Partners on timing of work/planning etc

* Understanding and achieving client’s targets and SLA’s.

* Produce reports (Daily/weekly/monthly) on the status of works in a structured manner in particular drawing attention to any deviations from the original outline

* Produce detailed programmes that integrate design and construction activities, which is planned and organised to obtain the best possible efficiencies and delivery within required timescales

What we are looking for:

* Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction related discipline.

* P6/ Primevera qualification

* Civil Engineering/M&E/Building Experience

* Extensive Planning experience

* Relevant CSCS card and EUSR card

* Strategic, operational, technical and management skills

* Chartered, or near Chartered, in a construction discipline

* Working knowledge of CDM and construction Health and Safety
