We’re currently offering the opportunity for undergraduate placement students to gain valuable experience and develop a wide range of skills that will help you to pursue a career in Internal Recruitment, at our Head Office in Skipton, North Yorkshire.
Our Recruitment Team is responsible for managing the company’s resourcing needs within a highly competitive market. This role will provide you with real insight into the role of a professional recruiter in a busy, fast-paced environment. This year-long sandwich placement will involve liaising with applicants, recruitment agencies, company directors and employees across the business as you strive meet the resourcing demands of your own framework. You will also assist in the production of job advertisements by updating job descriptions, specifications and profiles as well as assisting in the organisation and delivery of assessment centres and recruitment fairs.

This is generated from projects within the building and civil engineering sectors and has seen a 26% increase on the previous year. What you’ll bring
* You must be studying towards obtaining a full-time business degree and be eligible to work in the UK.
* An ability to suggest new ideas and implement your own strategies as we perpetually improve our recruitment process for graduates, placement students and all other external candidates.
* A friendly, polite approach to work, with great communication skills – the team is supporting the business and its people after all!
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to juggle numerous projects simultaneously.
* Great teamwork skills – you’ll be a key part of the Recruitment team – but you’ll need to be able to work independently and be able to prioritise your workload effectively.
