Position Title Pensions Administrator

United Kingdom - Essex


Job Summary

AECOM is looking for a Pensions Administrator who has previous pension experience ideally of both DB and DC pension schemes (including small insured schemes) to work alongside the Pensions Management team and assist with day-to-day activities and project work.

A 9 month fixed term contract based from our offices in Chelmsford or St Albans the role will involve;


Working closely with the UK Pensions Manager and Pensions Project Manager


Be the first port of call for dealing with post and member enquiries


Involvement with preparing and collation of trustee packs and preparing the follow-up actions log


Assisting with discretionary decisions and drafting cover memos for the trustees


Day-to-day tasks will require liaising with third parties (administrator, actuary, lawyers and insurers) and issuing member correspondence for our small insured schemes


Maintaining electronic filing system including archiving


Offer support to the Pensions Project Manager for ongoing project work including:- contacting advisers, collation of information and input into spreadsheets for General Data Protection Regulations - contacting insurers and liaising with lawyers collation of information for special projects- reconciliation of our list of deeds for consolidation of rules

Minimum Requirements

To be successful in this role we would like to hear from candidates with the following;


Previous experience in a similar role with a sound knowledge of pensions (ideally both DB and DC)


Knowledge of trusts


Good communication skills as you will be communicating with third party providers and the leadership team

Preferred Qualifications
