Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Operations Assurance Programme Manager to lead activities in support of the Group Head Operations Assurance, in the development of policy and procedures including designing and delivering implementation programmes and activities that improve the performance and delivery of Operations Assurance across all Wood Operations. You will also lead the development and implementation of the Operations Assurance strategy within HSSEA Function, in line with overall Wood strategic objectives.

* Lead and manage the delivery of Operations Assurance development and strategic improvement projects, including company-wide programmes such as PLUS or OA functional programmes
* To provide support to awareness and performance improvement programmes
* Liaise with the Operations Assurance leads (their role titles will vary) in the Business Units to ensure consistency and compliance with Group Operations Assurance Policies and Procedures; including liaising with the BUs regarding the scale up of assurance good practices
* Custodian of Our Approach to Technical Safety (Wood’s technical safety standard)
* Custodian of Operations Assurance documents as nominated; including leading the development, review and refresh of these documents
* To be the custodian of Operations Assurance training programmes (eg. Technical Assurance; Process Safety) and to provide support and delivery of this training
* Participate in the Operations Assurance LT contributing Operations Assurance Strategy
* Develop adaptive assurance / agile assurance strategy and practices for Group OA
* Lead / provide support to development and delivery of training, awareness and performance improvement programmes
* Comply with company policies as appropriate
* Management of budgets
* Risk management

Skills / Qualifications


* Degree in an engineering or technical area
* Management qualification, preferred
