What is the purpose of this role?
To maintain commercial buildings in Taunton/Worle/Bristol including PPM’s, reactive electrical jobs and infrastructure of buildings and services
What will this role involve?
Maintenance of the following plant equipment;
• AHU’s FCU’ and air quality systems
• Distribution Boards, and services
• Emergency Lighting, Commercial lighting
• Inverters, controls and Actuators
• Building management systems (BMS) and control equipment
• Building fabric maintenance
• Access control (advantageous)
• General maintenance tasks as required
In addition to planned maintenance of the plant equipment the successful candidate will be responsible for reactive tasks and organising their own time to ensure the building is kept compliant.
There is a call out schedule for the Taunton site which you will be scheduled with others within the maintenance team.
What are we looking for?
City & Guilds (C&G) 2391 Inspection and Test or the equivalent C&G 2394 & 5 C&G 2382 17th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations C&G Installation Certificate 2360 /2351 or equivalent with Part 2 or NVQ C&G 2393
Current full UK driving licence, Time management, Basic computer literacy Knowledge and understanding of personal health and safety, method statements and risk assessments and Compliance.
Required technical skills. Demonstrable previous work-related experience and Time served apprenticeship Enthusiastic Punctual Conscientious Self-motivated Interpersonal skills Able to work without supervision Accurate measuring and scoping of works Good knowledge of current industry practice Problem solving Able to test / fault find / and install on domestic and commercial properties
If successful you will be required to have SC Clearance which we will provide, looking after a new building which has won awards for its design and also support with two Court buildings in the region.
