About the role

We’re on the lookout for a ‘Go to Market’ Marketing Manager to join us here at Virgin Media. You’ll be responsible in creating and managing the overall GTM strategy and overarching value proposition messaging that we take to market. You’ll be working collaboratively with the sector experts, commercial leads and customer insights teams (to name a few) to ensure we’re building an appropriate proposition. To do that, you’ll show understanding of the wider sector context, the customers perceived/real needs and ability to define the business roadmap to ensure the correct solutions are being considered. You’ll need to manage a number of tasks and people at one time, to ensure each section of creating the proposition flows smoothly. Therefore, we’ll be looking for someone with strong project management, excellent collaboration across all levels and the ability to take a step back and manage the operation holistically, ensuring best practise and commercial/business objectives are met.

Principle Responsibilities

* Understand our propositions by working with the Commercial and Product team and translate these into core messaging to take to market
* Work with channel leads in Marketing to ensure that they have the right messages, creative and tools to create impactful campaign strategies
* Get to the heart of the customer and work with internal brand and creative agencies to bring our propositions to life
* Aligning all messaging to the relevant customer lifecycle stage – both existing and prospect customers
* Work with Commercial and Product to develop and implement standardized project management framework, tools, and processes for GTM
* Be the bridge between the wider GTM, Commercial and Product and Marketing teams
* Work with the product and propositions programmes and help brief these into the Marketing campaign leads and gather requirements enabling delivery of the campaigns
* Being the driving force for campaign creativity that brings our brand to life through our channels and also helps to align our journeys with our Consumer colleagues
* Aligning all activity to the relevant customer lifecycle stage – both existing and prospect customers

Required Qualifications/ Experience

* Experience in a senior management role within a complex matrix organisation
* Demonstrable experience of delivering successful campaigns/programmes in a commercially led, volume-based marketing environment
* Experience of similar role(s) within a complex B2B environment – IT, telecoms or service provision
* Wide range of marketing/campaign knowledge, including marketing strategy, channel mix selection, end to end customer lifecycle tactics, build and execution of integrated and repeatable marketing programmes
* Proven success working within a complex matrix organisation
