These changes have not come without a cost and has made these institutions re-evaluate the way they have been doing business traditionally. Moreover, the proliferation of technological advances including disruptive technologies and digital are compounding the pressures of maintaining competitiveness, being adaptable and increasing profit margins.

EY is now investing in a new EMEIA cloud division focused on delivering key cloud programs, build valuable relationships, and develop strong capabilities through both formal training and working with senior mentors and talented colleagues.

This is akin to a start-up with EY and we are seeking high calibre and experienced cloud security architects and engineers to join this growing team.

The opportunity

Become an EY leader in public cloud security, demonstrating insights, knowledge and direction on all aspects of cloud security. Share these insights with our clients and help them navigate the journey to public cloud. Expand your knowledge and capability of cloud security by working within a team of experienced cloud experts.

Your key responsibilities

* Work with the Cloud Management team to define the go to market cloud security consultancy service and be part of the go to market team to sell these services to our clients.

* Manage the implementation of cloud security services within our client by engaging with senior stakeholders and help them safely adopt cloud technologies.

* Provide guidance and input into internal projects that are building cloud security assets in terms of architecture and engineering best practises and where necessary to demonstrate best practices through implementation.

Skills and attributes for success

* A natural technical pilot that is proficient in explaining cloud security to financial services clients including non-technical stakeholders at all levels

* An ability to engage as part of the sales team to provide pre and post-sales support and implementation

* A capability to direct a delivery team on all aspects of cloud security and to engage with client stakeholders to oversee implementation progress

To qualify for the role you must have

* Successful track record as a Lead Security architect or engineer, gained through working in public cloud security architecture and engineering

* Experience of implementing cloud security in a regulated sector such as Financial Services

* Experience of working within a DevOps environment including agile and CICD and implementing security within the development processes

* Detailed working knowledge of how information security standards such as ISO 27001/2 and NIST 800-53 apply to public cloud platforms

* Relevant cloud security certifications for public cloud platforms

* Working knowledge of common and industry standard cloud-native/cloud-friendly authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OpenID, etc).

* Experience with service-oriented architecture for cloud-based services.

* Good working knowledge about security operations, networking, application services, databases and storage solutions

* Deep and validated understanding of Public Cloud Security technologies (AWS, GCP or Azure).

* Strong knowledge of security architecture frameworks as well as enterprise architecture standards and best practices (CSA/CIAQ, CCM, NIST, TOGAF or Zachman)

* Ability to understand business and technical requirements and establish the appropriate Security Cloud Control designs as necessary

* Practical experience reviewing Enterprise Architecture designs and enhancing security solutions against company standards and industry best practice.

* Experience of PaaS, SaaS, IaaS cloud architectures.

* Experience of Hybrid, Public and Private cloud architectures, and integration across these existing systems with top cloud providers.

* Familiarity with security automation tools for cloud resources such as AWS, Azure, and Office365
