What is the purpose of the role?
In this role you will be responsible for the day to day management and effective targeting of active leakage detection within your appointed region. You will actively prioritise the repair backlog to help optimise delivery of the active and visible main and customer side leak repair activities.

This is a crucial role for leakage, day to day understanding of the areas. You will be part of team that helps deliver a unique service to our 14 million customers and join at a ground-breaking time for the water industry. Starting within the Infrastructure Alliance which was established in April 2015, it is an exciting time to join.
What will this role involve?
The Analyst will:
Provide support to various operational teams; including metering queries crucial for managing the network.
Report and raise jobs for all faulty commercial logger and prioritisations loggers as required; a key activity which will assist detection targeting work.
Detect day to day leakage targeting in your appointed region utilising a range of systems.
Locate jobs and raise notifications in a timely manner to ensure jobs are raised as quickly as possible.
Raise and assign work to field services, and then proceed with managing the contractor's performance.
Assist the Netbase administrator with data optimisation activities to ensure that the data on all our systems is fit for purpose and accurate.
Support the engineers by routinely running reports to highlight key areas to focus on
Assist the engineer with desk top exercises to improve operability.
This can be through identification and prioritisation of field based validation activity or desktop activity to highlight anomalies to address operability issues or function set changes.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with a background in leakage or who has an understanding of clean water networks. The ideal candidate will have experience using SAP or GIS systems and you must be a confident Microsoft Excel user. You will have strong communication skills and will be confident organising your work load effectively with good time management abilities. An analytical mind and approach to work is the key for this role as well as the ability to manage a varied workload at one time. This role is an exciting opportunity which has arisen within the Infrastructure Alliance (IA) contract with Thames Water. Thames Water information and salary details
This role is offering a salary between of £29,000 and £32,000, depending on skills and experience, and will be based out of our Deephams site in north London.
