Job Description

You have a highly innovative personality focussed at delivering the right solution for some diverse and challenging structural requirements. You will have a background in Aircraft structural analysis.

Within today's framework, it is not easy to deliver a structural design that offers time to entry into service, mature first time and cost effective solutions that our customers desire.

We are a team of 160 people, which today perform design engineering tasks across the full life cycle of the aircraft and product lifecycle, We

Design of the next A320 family variant
Develop the Series aircraft including major initiatives of design for cost and rate
Support the in service fleet
Research and develop concepts for the next generation of aircraft in our family

Many of us are specialists in their domains on whom you can rely for help. Our team will be able to support you and give opportunities to continuously learn more in Static Stress and multi path skills.

We are a highly motivated team of Engineers focused on reducing the unit cost of the Single Aisle Wing. We are constantly challenging the current design and conventional thinking in order to maximise profitability whilst ensuring the quality and safety of the product is not degraded.

We are looking to embark on the next chapter of the Single Aisle evolution and want like-minded people to join us on that journey.


I perform Static Stress analysis on Aircraft wings that lift the most successful aircraft family in history into the air safely and reliably. I am an innovative person who works across boundaries to deliver new solutions that add both customer and holder value”


You will Engineer Aircraft structures that are innovative and offer benefit to existing products and new increments. You will prepare the future product family.

You will contribute design solutions and ways of working borne from experience in aerospace, other industries or research environments.

You will be involved with idea generation, scoping and planning new modifications whilst supporting the development of other Engineers within the team.

You will be responsible for leading the Static Stress Analysis activities, liaising with the various stakeholders to ensure the success of the multiple modifications currently being undertaken.

You will operate as part of the A320 family Wing Engineering team – performing structural analysis that keeps the fleet flying, helps generate Airbus profit, increases aircraft delivery rate or certifies new and next increments of the product family.


You studied structures Engineering and your experience will primarily be in Static Stress. Ideally you will have competence in finite element analysis, building linear and non-linear Finite element models

You have a good knowledge of overall aircraft design and experience in structural analysis. Ideally having previous experience working on the SA aircraft and have held a level of technical signatory in the aerospace sector.
