We’re embarking on an exciting study into effects optimisation for future mission information systems in the air, land, and sea domains. You will lead a small team looking ahead to define what mission planning and command & control systems will look like in the future. This will include winning bids, developing strategies, and leading technical management for projects in this domain.

You’ll need experience of weapon systems (threats, competitors, opportunities), as well as the working relationships with our main customer, the UK MoD, as you’ll be working closely with them to understand their needs and map out what the future of these systems will be.

Effects Optimisation is a key part of our business and so the work you do will be noticed right across the company. It’s a chance for you to innovate, help MBDA stay ahead of the curve, and help our customer continue to succeed in an ever-changing environment.

What we’re looking for

* A broad appreciation of MBDA and competitor systems across Land, Sea and Air.
* Knowledge of working relationships with UK MoD customer
* Good knowledge of weapon systems including competitors and threats
* Ability to conceive novel tools and techniques to get maximum performance from our existing and future weapon systems
