We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our experienced team in Eurotherm as a Lead Projects Applications Engineer to deliver process automation system solutions. In this role you will deliver SCADA and process control systems. The scope includes leading and engineering in all phases of project delivery including obtaining user requirements, documentation, application configurations, testing, commissioning and training.

Your Responsibilities:

* Liaise with customers to help define system requirements

* Generate detailed system design of automation systems to include enclosures, networking, instrumentation and supervisory systems

* Generate Functional and Test Specifications

* Procure project equipment

* Implement control and SCADA application software

* Carry out system tests

* Provide commissioning assistance

* Provide technical and sales support

* Working as a team member and ensuring effectiveness of work completion using smart objectives

* Interface with Technical Support and Field Service Engineers, reporting on follow-up of projects

* Coaching and mentoring of junior team members

* Customer site visits for System start-up and commissioning and technical support

About you:

* Strong business and technical mind-set

* You possess previous experience in a similar role with proven track record in implementing control systems and providing related services

* Qualified to degree level in relevant discipline (Engineering) but please note that candidates with equivalent experience will also be considered

* Be able to build a good customer relationship, and a strong collaboration and have the ability to communicate at all levels

* Positive attitude and constructive approach

* Fluency in English (written and verbal) is a must

* Hold a full driving license and be prepared to travel to our customer sites and work the hours to fit in with our customers

* Responsible attitude and committed to producing a high standard of work

* Optimistic, dynamic, highly motivated and enjoys working in a high-performance culture

* Maintain forecast profit by good engagement and planning

* Enhance company reputation by high quality, on-time and responsive delivery

* Fully comply and participate in harmonised systems to global engineering standards

* Fully and constructively participate in sharing best practice in process and technical areas
