Arup
is a global firm of designers, engineers, planners, consultants and technical
experts who use our skills to help shape a better world. Our team of landscape
architects work on a wide variety of projects with award-winning teams based in
Leeds, Bristol, Cardiff, London, Newcastle and Solihull, with international teams
in Australia, China and America.

Our
landscape architects work in collaboration with a wide range of Arup
disciplines on projects to produce integrated design outputs. We work on strategic
landscape masterplans through to detailed design and implementation. Our
approach is to design using nature-based solutions, with the aim of fulfilling the
UN Sustainable Development Goals on our projects. The landscape team in Leeds
work closely with the Water business to combine green and blue infrastructure.

Role

Our
Leeds office are currently seeking a landscape professional with 5 years+
experience in landscape architecture. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate
excellent graphic ability, creative design and good writing skills.

As
a Landscape Architect within Arup, you will experience an exciting and diverse
workload, exposing you to a range of project scales, types and clients,
offering opportunity for personal development.

Professional requirements
and skills


A
Masters or Post Graduate Diploma qualification in Landscape Architecture or
Landscape Management is desirable.


Landscape
professional with 5 years+ experience of working within a consultancy.


CMLI
accreditation or working towards CMLI accreditation or other professional body
accreditation.


A
designer with strong visual communication skills and an ability to share ideas
through sketching and hand drawing.


Strong
report writing skills.


Awareness
of LVIA and how it influences a project


A
strong working knowledge of; AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup (or other
3D modelling software) and Microsoft Office.


A
high level of skill in pencil sketching.


Team
working and communication skills.


Opportunities
