Position Title Land Access Manager
United Kingdom - West Midlands
AECOM is currently seeking to hire Land Access Manager to be based at Birmingham, England. The role duties include to manage a small team (1-3 variably through the year) of individuals within a much larger project management team, arranging access to various sites so that ecology surveys may be undertaken by our team of ecologists. There is a large degree of collaboration and team work - you will be working closely with the scheduling team to ensure access is gained in a timely fashion. Land access general tasks include updating and managing the land access database, issuing 7-day notifications (letters) to land owners, ringing land owners to confirm access and site-specific conditions / requirements, attending various meetings with the client and other stakeholders, creating and issuing reports, updating the project management team with progress and anticipating issues that may arise. Developing an understanding of the wider project and the work of other team members will also be key to creating your own role and ensuring the success of the project as a whole.
General project management plus a desire to gain further experience in this area.
Attendance at client meetings; liaison with stakeholders.
Experience in land referencing or property services.
Access planning and management experience (mainly administrative).
Programme development, tracking and monitoring.
Good grasp of Excel
Administrative / organisational skills and experience
Strong communication skills
Well organised and diligent
Ability to both lead and work within a team
Methodological with good attention to detail
Problem solving and ability to innovate
* Bachelors Degree.
