Knowledge & Requirements Manager

We are looking for a Knowledge & Requirements Manager to join our civil engineering team to work on one of our Major rail projects based near Euston, London.



Lead the Requirements Management team, including briefing, training and supervising of the team, as well as the project team and subcontractors on all relevant matters.


Develop, set up and manage the SCS knowledge data base.


Implement and monitor knowledge information flows within the project team and subcontractors, ensuring collaborative and effective information sharing.


Develop, set up and manage the Requirements Management platform aligned with HS2 standards and requirements.


Implement HS2 requirements into the SCS requirements platform, as well as developing, prioritising and assigning responsibilities for the extended SCS requirements portfolio required for ECI Stage One.


Develop and guide the project team on requirements implementation and verification processes

* Manage the production of requirements verification packages and submissions in line with the Stage One Gateway process, as well as supporting the technical design assurance process

* Be responsible for the regular reporting on the performance of the Requirements Management and verification process


Manage and integrate subcontractors, 3rd parties and other work packages into the knowledge and requirements management processes


Drive innovation in the knowledge and requirements management approach


Foster collaborative working within the Requirements Management team and the project team through data base management, team integration and workflows


Work in close collaboration with the Stage One Coordinator and Design Director to support the development of scheme design and the Stage Two proposal with an advanced requirements and knowledge management approach


Support to employ competent Requirements engineers, as well as providing training and guidance for the team.

We're looking for:

* Appropriate professional qualification

* Experience in requirements management in civil engineering projects is a benefit


Knowledge of setting up and managing requirements management platforms and work flows


Knowledge of requirements management software (Relatics, Doors, etc)


Previous experience in a design environment is an asset

* Strong communication skills

* Relevant CSCS Card
