Job Placement: Communications Assistant
Location: Manchester, M23 9LF
Kickstart - The Government’s Kickstart scheme helps unemployed young people, aged 16-24, to secure quality 6-month placements with a minimum 25 hours a week. We’re proud to have signed up to this and are looking forward to welcoming people from April 2021.
The benefits
We believe that a focus on personal development is crucial at the early stages of your career. Joining our Kickstart scheme will help you build essential skills, such as:
• Support with career planning, CV writing, interview skills, finding your next role
• Communication skills
• Personal effectiveness
• Teamwork
How it works
We know that the workplace may not be a familiar environment, so you’ll be assigned a 'buddy' and mentor, as well as a line manager for day-to-day support.
You’re not expected to arrive knowing everything – you’ll learn on the job and we’ll teach you what you need to know.
Please only apply for this position if you have been referred by your DWP work coach and have been provided a unique reference number – all applications will be checked that you are in receipt of universal credits!
