Your role

Are you an analytical thinker with a strong interest in fund management? Are you great with numbers, detail oriented and adept at managing multiple projects and priorities?

We’re looking for a Junior Product Specialist to support our team with all aspects of Product Development and Shelf Management. This is a predominantly project-based role, where you will have the opportunity to learn and develop from our established team in London.

Your role
• monitor existing UK OEIC and Life funds through the entire lifecycle, conducting ongoing reviews and value assessment to ensure our funds remain competitive (performance, fees, positioning) and deliver the needs of our clients.
• support the development and launch of new products, including initial research to establish a fund’s viability in the market, competitor landscape and pricing.
• support the team with the implementation of corporate actions, including fund changes, mergers and closures.
• provide technical product support and guidance to a range of stakeholders, including Sales teams, Portfolio Managers, Middle office and the broader Product organisation.
• interact with the Product Management team in Zurich and the wider Products organisation to constantly optimise our local fund offering targeting wholesale and institutional investors.
• analyse the market to compile intelligence on competitors, trends and product flows.

Your team

You'll be working within our UK Products team based in London and within the wider Fund Development & Management organisation globally. We work closely with internal clients, project teams and investment specialists, to lead projects across all stages of the product lifecycle: from concept development, through to implementation, management and closure. We also implement regulatory change and monitor the ongoing suitability and commercial viability of existing products.

• excellent analytical and problem solving abilities with a drive to improve process (Change the Bank mentality).
• well organised, diligent and detail oriented, with outstanding time and project management skills.
• strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• degree or equivalent in a finance, mathematics or engineering discipline.

You are:
• a collaborative team player.
• client focused.
• self-starter who can work independently and with integrity.
• quick learner, able to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment.
• creative, curious and willing to challenge, with a hunger to learn and develop.
