This role requires
a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

BS/BA degree or equivalent

Advanced knowledge of
application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

Understanding of architecture
and design across all systems

Working proficiency in
developmental toolsets

Knowledge of industry wide
technology strategies and best practices

· Ability to work in large,
collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building
an innovative culture

· Understanding of software
skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software

Strong knowledge of the Java
programming language and its eco-system.
Up-to-date with the latest technologies and languages for the Java VM
(including Kotlin or Scala).

Strong understanding of Agile
methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks.

Strong understanding of
techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven
Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency and security.

Working proficiency in a
portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of
overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing,
deployment, maintenance and improvement of software.

Experience of messaging e.g.
JMS, AMQ, Tibco .etc.
