Treasury Technology team works with end users in Corporate Treasury, Cash Management Operations, Liquidity Controllers and other groups on a daily basis to optimise our Liquidity Reserve and bring efficiency to their processing. Role Profile

As a Developer in Treasury Technology, you will be focusing on implementing new and updated Liquidity reporting relation applications to calculate the firm's liquidity reserve (~200 BN USD), and building models for firm?s Recovery and Resolution planning platform. Treasury Technology has a varied technical stack - core Java for the server-side, Angular for the web and DB2 SQL for the database and we expect the developer to have solid understanding of the same. We also use a range of data processing technology (e.g. Spark, Kafka). A knowledge of these technologies is not necessary - but an enthusiasm and desire to learn new technology and deploy it to solve business problems is a must.

The candidate should possess a successful track record of key skills including: business analysis, software engineering and logical problem solving. These skills are crucial as the role entails liaising with business stakeholders to understand complex requirements and to deliver work under pressure with minimal supervision in a highly dynamic environment. The candidate should bring positivity and enthusiasm in their engagements with colleagues to foster a positive working environment for all.

The ideal candidate should have;

* A minimum of 1 years of experience in Core Java application development

* A keen interest in learning the business and applying new and existing technologies to solve business challenges

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with team members globally.

* Web technologies such as Angular, HTML5, Spring, Microservices

Desired skills

* Experience with databases and SQLs

* Exposure to Scala will be beneficial

* Practical experience in Agile/Scrum based development

* BDD driven development using frameworks such as Cucumber, JBehave, Concordion

* Strong development skills in Java server-side programming
