What are our behaviours
Our Water Operations business provides industry leading services in both clean and wastewater, to the UK Water Industry and employs around 800 people. Our existing services in Water Networks, Drainage, Surveying, Leakage Consultancy, Water Resources and Efficiency, Flood Risk and the Water Environment, where we have developed sustainable, long term relationships with our clients, as a result of our core behaviours.
What the role is
The Field Team Leader will work closely with the Performance Manager and Field Teams to lead the safe and efficient delivery of Leakage services to high standards.
As a Field Team Leader your main duties and responsibilities will include:
*Champion and lead a strong Health & Safety culture aligned to RPS behaviours
*Participating and delivering training and safety initiatives implemented by RPS
*Sharing expertise and knowledge through coaching field teams and demonstrating Best Practice methodology is taught and adhered to.
*Undertaking training and completing detailed individual training matrix/plans
*Ensuring the individual and team training matrix is updated and reported as per the clients/RPS expectations
*Implementing quality checks for all services delivered
*Where needed undertake survey work solving complex operational/leakage issues
*Contributing to the continual improvement of best practice and new technology
*Lead entry and exit interviews to drive reduction/detection performance within area
*Participation in and implementation of process improvement initiatives
Who you are
* An individual with a strong commitment to Health and Safety
* A successful track record of coaching a team, with a strong communication and the ability to motivate and influence
* A strong Customer Service ethos and track record
* Experience of meeting strict client and company targets
* Ability to develop people through structured training programs
* A working knowledge of working within Utilities and Water Distribution is advantageous.
Your experience and qualifications
*Demonstrable experience of success in a similar environment
*Computer literacy on Microsoft and Work Management Systems and applications.
*Full UK driving license.
