Our Opportunity:

By joining our Communications Apprenticeship Programme, you will embark on an exciting journey that provides the perfect opportunity for you to either build on existing experience or kick start your career.

Working from our Manchester office, you’ll support the Internal Communications Manager and communications teams with managing our various communications channels to colleagues. You’ll be involved in helping improve intranet pages by ensuring information is clear, up to date and audience - focused, as well as helping colleagues create and publish engaging and appropriate content.

You’ll also be responsible for maintaining our various databases and distribution lists and updating these with social value content, in addition to monitoring and updating the internal communications content calendar and inbox on behalf of the team. And that’s not all, you’ll be writing presentations, case studies and online updates for social value campaigns and also involved in helping organise social value activities, school events and virtual work experience projects as well as campaigns, surveys and team events.

Our structured 15-month apprenticeship programme combines all these aspects with studying towards your Level 4 PR & Communications Assistant apprenticeship. * Inquisitive – You’ll be eager to develop your understanding of our services and think creatively to solve problems as they arise

* Excellent IT skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and willingness to learn the use of other software packages

* A commitment to complete your 15-month Level 4 PR & Communications Assistant apprenticeship course whilst working and the drive to complete your final assessment
