We are an aspiring organisation, and we are looking for equally bold and creative Industrial Placements to join our dynamic Alliance Cost Organisation (ACO) team. Nissan is positioned to become the most desirable Asian brand in Europe, and we need your help to get there.
We are seeking for a candidate to be based at Nissan Technical Centre Europe, Cranfield to develop and maintain a world class Cost Management capability for Nissan to allow our business to continue to grow globally.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be assigned to our Cross Car Line Group (CCL) within the PEC function.
Examples of key responsibilities include:
Creation of reports for regular cross functional meetings
Support system and process improvements
Work cross functionally with Project management, engineering, purchase, other PEC areas, regionally and globally.
The gathering of part level cost information, and to present it clearly and succinctly to relevant business users to ensure timely decisions are made.
Where appropriate simplify, enhance, or create new reports to support existing requirements, by means of MS Office applications
The main focus is to accurate Cost Reporting methods
Improve and develop reporting tools and systems, in order to summarise findings and report to various levels of the business.

Background and Experience
2nd year student, currently studying a relevant degree or EUR equivalent that allows you to partake in an industrial placement year
High level of PC knowledge
Advanced numerical skills
