Implementation Manager –
Software Infrastructure and Engineering Software Tool Sets

Would you like to play a key
role in the continuous improvement and implementation of key engineering
software and tool sets? We currently have a vacancy for an Implementation Manager based out of any of our
Land UK Sites (Glascoed- Wales, Radway Green – Cheshire or Washington – County
Durham).

As an Implementation Manager, you will manage the identification, implementation, delivery
and sustainment of Hardware Infrastructure and facilities required to deliver
the Land UK Engineering Capability and Strategy.

This role will provide you with the ability to
play a key role in the development of the Land UK business. You will have a
varied role with the ability to develop the business, its engineering functions
and others as you manage a team circa 8 people. You will drive change in a role
which requires you to adapt to business needs and ongoing improvement of its
engineering capability.

Your main responsibilities as an Implementation Manager will involve:

Project
Management, project planning and robust project finance control.

Identify, develop
and acquire the necessary Engineering software tools and associated hardware,
infrastructure, facilities etc to support Engineering activities of BAE Land
UK.

Management and provision of engineering software toolsets,
technology and infrastructure in alignment with the product and IDT strategies
by conducting suitable analysis as required.

Ensuring the
correct level of Engineering governance and control for projects in line with
the Business Management System.

Provide the
inputs to assist in the analysis/Capability Management Plan delivery, to assist
the future programme for the business and associated discipline capability
requirements to generate the strategic resource and capability development plan
for Land UK.

Develop strong
long term relationships with the Authority, Chief Engineers, Delegated Design
Authorities (DDAs), functional
engineering management and projects teams.

Support future
bids via the delivery of Capability, into BAE Systems Land UK projects.

Input into the
appropriate aspects of the Land UK Engineering Framework.

Your skills and qualifications:

HNC/HND or equivalent in relevant discipline
experience or relevant proven working experience

Strong background in engineering software &
hardware identification and implementation programmes

Demonstrated team management experience

Proven experience using Engineering and
Business Software Toolsets (such as Team Centre, SAP, configuration management
tools)

Proven experience presenting to stakeholders at
all levels internal and external to the business

Proven continuous improvement experience with
recognised CI qualification (Green or Black Belt Status)

Ability to travel to other Land UK Sites as
required.

work under pressure, prioritise yours and others workloads and be able to
motivate others.

Salary: Circa £45,000
per annum
