Click to DownloadAre you a qualified Engineer with a Systems or ICA engineering background? Looking for a new opportunity?

Why not join the team at Affinity Water where you can use your engineering skillset to keep up the supply of safe, high-quality drinking water to your local communities.

Your next role

As ICA Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, testing and repairing SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and associated PLC’s, plus instrumentation, control and automation equipment for internal projects.

Working closely with the operational leadership team, you’ll apply your technical expertise to focus on asset improvement, optimisation, operability and efficiency – identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and constructively challenging designs and working practices to achieve the best resolution. You’ll also take the lead in delivering and commissioning capital projects, with emphasis on adherence to design specifications, H&S, outputs, and quality.

What do you need?

You'll have experience in an ICA software engineering capacity with hands-on experience of working with supply chain to deliver projects. Water sector experience isn’t required - manufacturing, engineering, brewery, FMCG or the broader utilities industry offers great transferable skills.

As the service you'll provide is essential to the customer, you'll be comfortable participating in a standby rota to ensure someone's always on call if there's an operational issue. It's all part of your outstanding service.

What's in it for you?

Ready for your next challenge?

Get involved in the story behind your water and be part of our vision to be the leading community-focused water company.

and follow the quick and easy application questions to submit your interest. Everyone will get a response.
