An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Systems Analyst to join us on a Fixed-Term Contract until January 2020. This role will suit a technical expert who has strong functional skills working with Oracle HCM and Talent Management (Oracle HR E-Business Suite, Release 12 and Taleo) modules globally.

Working within the Global HR & Learning Systems team, the role holder will have a strong track record of working closely with HR business stakeholders. Core activities will include gathering and defining business requirements, implementation of small business change and end user support for a variety of HCM functional modules in multiple geographies.

Exposure of working in a post implementation business as usual support capacity is a must.

The role….


Implementing and supporting existing E-Business Suite HCM configurations and custom extensions and reporting on a day to day basis to the Global HR Systems Manager.


Working closely with HR business stakeholders based in London in understanding process needs, producing functional specifications and solutions.


Functional system support of R12.1.3 HCM functionality currently in use at Arup. Primary modules Oracle Advanced Benefits, Compensation Workbench and Core HR.


Provide expertise in both functional configuration and in a technical capacity, following best practice development and release management of Oracle Applications.


Experience of providing HCM support in key HCM modules described below and delivering small business change to Oracle E-Business Suite HCM modules to time and budget.


Work towards the Global HR Digital Technology roadmap and contribute to the development of Oracle HRMS footprint and other HR related propositions.


Advise, support and mentor team members both on and offshore

To achieve in this role, you will require…


HCM functional (Must): Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB), Compensation Workbench (CWB) and Core HR.


HCM Desirable coverage: Fast Formula, Self-Service HR, Oracle Payroll, Paid Time Off Accrual Plans (PTO) and Taleo.


Technical skills (Must): Good Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL and having good technical understanding of Oracle HR, underlying schema and associated technical architectures


Technical skills (Desirable): BI Publisher, AME, Discoverer (including EUL), knowledge of HCM APIs, Workflow and OAF, Taleo (OBIEE) & Power BI.


Demonstrable experience of supporting, developing and maintaining ERP HCM modules in a global fast paced ever changing HCM environment.


At least 5+ years of IT experience using Oracle Applications E-Business Suite HCM is required for this role. Strong functional and configuration skills will be required for this role for the modules stated above.


Strong communication skills and written skills, fostering good relations with key HR business stakeholders.


Batchelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with significant Functional experience of Oracle Applications HCM Release 12.
