Murphy Group are looking for a HR Apprentice to support the People Function with the effective administration of all people administration, processing in an accurate and timely manner. Maintain high levels of confidentiality and adherence to data protection regulations at all times. We will support you in your development working towards a CIPD recognised qualification.

Service Centre Assistance Line

* Act as a first point of people contact for all employee’s, answering queries on process and policy where possible and referring to the Shared Service Centre Team Leader where a more comprehensive response is required.

* Manage a volume of telephone and e-mail enquiries as well as queries made in person – ensuring accurate and timely responses at all times.

* Liaise with employees and line managers as required, in a timely manner, dealing with day to day enquiries and problem solve where possible.

* Maintain a professional level of service to the Group at all times

* Comply with JMS Quality procedures.

* Administration

* Support all aspects of Administration within the scope of the People Shared Service Centre as required (recruitment, operations and learning & development)

* Ensure accurate and timely data entry onto all people systems – ensuring the ongoing integrity of data.

* Support data integrity activities on a regular basis to ensure accurate records

* Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times (Data Protection) – including emails, letters and filing etc.

* Maintain up to date and accurate files, including employee and learning & development records

* Provide management information when requested.

* Adhere to agreed processes and ensure that all requests have been processed within the agreed timescales

* Identify and highlight opportunities for improvement to ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times

Strategic

* Assist with collation of reporting information and statistical information for reports as required.

* Collaboratively work with the other people functional areas to facilitate best practice solutions that can be implemented across the function as a whole.
