HIAB OperativeLocation: Dartford, KentAre you a HIAB Operative with Street Lighting experience?FM Conway is looking to recruit a HIAB Operative to join the team working for our Street Lighting team based in Dartford, Kent. People first, go home safe.The HIAB Operative Role:As our HIAB Operative, you will demonstrate excellent operational skills such as working at heights in a challenging environment, whilst displaying a basic knowledge of electrical systems and procedures. We have day and night shifts available, working either 07:00am until 16:30pm or 20:00pm until 05:30am.Responsibilities of our HIAB Operative:- Working within a small team working on electrical street lighting installations.- Working within health and safety plans, safe systems of work and risk assessments.- Interpretingscaled drawings of basic electrical installations and detailed drawings of underground cabling.- Undertaking excavations, installations & takedowns of street lighting furniture.- Ensuring that all site works are executed in a timely and cost-efficient manner whilst adhering to company health & safety processes & procedures and to maintain regular liaison with supervisors- Maintaining plant, vehicle and materials record sheets to support the works programme as well as ensuring all plant is fit for purpose and maintained to required standards.Our Ideal HIAB Operative:We are seeking a person with previous experience of working in the Street Lighting industry, ideally you will have the ability to coordinate street lighting operations and you must hold a Class 2 HGV licence. This role will involve travel to other FM Conway and customer locations, and therefore the job holder must be able to drive and possess a full UK driving licence.
