PA’s Healthcare team works across the sector globally on some of the most challenging and high profile assignments to make a real difference to patients and to our clients.

The ideal candidate will help develop the team, sell more work to clients and manage a team of committed experts to deliver outstanding work. This will involve a collaborative approach, bringing together the key pillars that PA is known for - Consulting, Technology and Innovation - and working as part of a diverse team of highly experienced consultants.

We work on some of the most challenging and high-profile assignments with the focus on making a real difference to our clients and the patients they serve.

PA has a highly regarded Healthcare team of over 100 consultants comprising of former managers, commissioners and clinicians dedicated to delivering projects for the health sector such as:

• Supporting the reconfiguration of some of the UK’s largest health economies
• Enabling CCGs to develop outcome-based contracts for new, integrated care models
• Supporting St Andrew’s Healthcare to pioneer new ways of working focused around patients’ needs, improving outcomes and better alignment of resources.
In addition, we have formed a strategic relationship with Aetna International to bring their experience of driving improvements in healthcare outcomes through their population health expertise and the delivery of wellness and health management programmes to the Integrated Care Systems in the UK. This is an exciting new relationship and will provide opportunities for our team to become involved in front line planning and delivery of services.

Job Requirements

What we're looking for:

We are seeking an experienced Managing Consultant who is able to both sell and deliver high quality work to our clients in the Healthcare sector. This will include:

• Leading medium to large-scale complex assignments
• Managing and developing high performing teams of PA colleagues
• Active involvement in managing client accounts, including producing thought-provoking pieces to support engagement with our clients
• Being responsible for initiating, leading and winning sales.
You will have a strong network of senior contacts and potential buyers across the NHS; ideally in geographies that are additive to our current client base.

Your primary expertise and experience will be in working across a health system in the design and delivery of integrated care. Specifically, you will be experienced in one or more of the following fields:

• Designing and implementing new care models and pathways across multiple organisations
• Designing and establishing robust financial models that support system financial planning
• Programme management of major reconfiguration or similar change programmes
• A data driven, analytical approach to delivery
• Integrated care / population health management
• Complex contracting in the commissioning of healthcare services
