As we’re changing, we’re seeking a Head of Technology Delivery – Sales & Service to be responsible for leading 15+ teams (150+ people) of multidisciplinary engineers, in the software engineering lifecycle, to create amazing products, focusing on reusability, stability, scalability, value and performance.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to Director of Digital Technology, you’ll create a diverse and inclusive culture where everyone is comfortable to be themselves and foster an environment that is fun yet challenging to meet the demands of the Sky and Comcast businesses.

In conjunction with the wider Digital Technology Sales & Service leadership team, as well as our business stakeholders, you will be responsible for creating a team structure capable of scaling to meet the ever-demanding strategic Digital demands from Sky and the wider Comcast group.

- Building a cohesive, high performing group team – you’ll design the target operating model for your team, with clear ownership and responsibility. Ensuring that structure and ownership is set up for success to meet Digital Transformation’s business and technical objectives.
- Handling high performance and output across your teams closely and making visible to all, using results to drive continuous improvement. Clearly aligned to our engineers’ objectives and personal development plans.
- Apply best practices to software development, testing and monitoring and ensure world class resiliency and quality to our services.
- Provide up to date reporting and status to senior stakeholders and executives.
- Provide operational 24/7 support for critical Sky platforms, making sure our platforms are available for customers when we say they will be.
- As part of the TDT Sales & Service leadership team you’ll collaborate with stakeholders across Sky, building credibility and trust to achieve your goals that will demand strong personal skills, cultural awareness and kudos.

What you’ll bring:

- Expert in software development, with experience and knowledge of working with large micro services-based platforms in a cloud environment.
- Knowledge and experience across both web and back end systems.
- An inclusive leader with boundless optimism, unwilling to tolerate mediocrity and passionate about quality and excellence.
- Track record of leading teams and demonstrated leadership qualities, such as: delegation/coaching for appropriate outcomes.
- Experience of building and redefining high performant multiple multi-disciplinary technology teams.
- Organisational Awareness-knowledge of managing both internal stakeholders and counterparts in interfacing organisations. Ability to think of approach beyond establishing traditional support arrangement boundaries for internal service management
- Commercially astute with experience managing sizeable budgets.
