Position Title Head of Facilities Management
United Kingdom - Surrey
AECOM is currently recruiting for a Head of Facilities Management to join the team based from one of our offices in the UK.
Within this role the successful candidate will be part of a team covering real estate and facilities services across the UK & Ireland, Continental Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa (EMIA).
The candidate is likely to have experience in a similar role in a company’s in-house facilities management team or with a facilities service provider. They will be skilled in managing the delivery of a wide range of facilities services, ideally where the client is a corporate occupier operating from multiple offices across the UK&I.
The individual will be a seasoned Facilities Managment executive who is very organised, great with people and passionate about delivering excellent service.
Ensure that AECOM’s offices and employees receive a great level of service.
Get to know the UK&I businesses by speaking regularly to stakeholders.
Organise and motivate a small team.
Continuously assess the business’s needs and adapt accordingly.
Undertake a strategic review of the way FM services are delivered currently and drive through any consequent changes.
Oversee the services provided by AECOM’s service partners.
Communicate operational and financial information in a user-friendly way.
Ensure that AECOM’s offices comply with relevant legislation.
Prepare annual budgets and manage expenditure within agreed limits.
Extensive career in senior facilities management.
Experienced manager of facilities management supplier relationships, ideally as the client.
Customer service oriented.
Good people-person as a manager and team leader.
Close attention to detail.
Well-organised; able to keep many activities running simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills.
Project management experience desirable.
Interested in process improvement and innovation.
